If you're planning an Italian wedding, you're in for a treat. Italy is home to some of the most gorgeous wedding venues in the world. No wonder as already the Etruscans were well-known for their rich Banquets laden with food and wine where, guided by musicians, the people danced in fashionable clothes and astonishing hairdos. After them, the Roman and the Greek all added to this ancient Dolce Vita Culture. And of course, Federico Fellini's Masterpiece forms the cherry on the wedding cake.

7. San Gimignano
If a more traditional Italian wedding experience is the style you are looking for then San Gimignano is the place to go. This charming hilltop town dates back to the Middle Ages and still looks much like it did then. Or what to think about the ancient Etruscan city of Volterra with nearby Lajatico and its famous Teatro del Silenzio where there is a concert once a year of local hero Andrea Bocelli who was born, and still lives here.
